Studio Workshops and Courses take place at:

Weekend Garden Mosaic Workshop
Dates: April 22-23,
Times: 10-4pm
Cost: £170
During this weekend you will have the opportunity to make a mosaic for your outside space. You will learn the process, practice cutting skills, and understand which materials are needed to make your piece weatherproof. There will be an extensive range of glass tesserae, crockery and other materials to choose from.
The workshop will be a fun, relaxed, weekend in an inspiring space. You will be guided with as much help and advice as needed, or if you have experience this could be precious time to focus and improve your existing skills. You may have time to grout you mosaic (24 hours is needed to dry before grouting) but there will be a demonstration, instructions and grout to take home.
Projects include: Garden Stakes, House Numbers, Insects and more.
Materials, drinks and snacks are provided. Please bring your lunch, there is a fridge and microwave in the studio, or visit Tesco Express nearby. There is is parking and the building has a goods lift. Full directions and accessibility details will be emailed out upon booking.

Mosaics Inspired By Nature Course Code: C2348879 Dates: 18/4/23 - 23/5/23 6 Sessions: Tuesday's 10am-3pm Cost: £129 Support: Those on certain benefits can attend for free During this course you will focus on different areas of the natural world as a source of inspiration for your mosaic work,. This could include favourite landscapes, living creatures, flora and fauna as well as textures and colours found in nature. You will research how mosaic artists have developed their own style using nature as their source and learn and develop from them. You will share and discuss your findings with the group and give feedback to others. Projects can be for the home or garden. |

Block 5: June 5th, 19th and July 3rd.
6.30-9.30pm
Cost - £90 for each block (3 evenings)
These sessions are suitable for absolute beginners who are looking to learn a new skill from scratch along with regular and returning students who enjoy the feedback, and camaraderie of the group. Many students have found that this is precious time and space carved out in the busy week to immerse oneself in ongoing projects or experiment with new techniques. Come with your own designs and ideas or be guided through a project.
Price includes materials (unless extra large or unusual!) also drinks and snacks.
